Can plans really change this much in one year?

Ok, so it's been a while since I posted. As usual, plans around here are changing.... AGAIN!

We were getting ready for the big move to Minnesota this summer, but an opportunity fell in our laps about a month ago that made us really think about what is important to us and how the move would affect our family (especially for Sarah). The house RIGHT NEXT DOOR to my brother Tony became available in April and we've decided to stay in Illinois and move there (Palos Hills). It was sudden and unexpected, but it may just be the smartest move we've made so far. Dan will still be commuting to Detroit, but his drive to Midway Airport will only be about 20 minutes...Sarah (and baby #2-*not yet*) will be able to grow up with Alexa and Abby next door...and me and my sis-n-law, Lisa, will be each other's support team (especially while Dan is away on trips and Tony is traveling for work too). Not to mention, for me, working from home will be a lot more productive now that Sarah will have some playmates :) (I'm getting to be quite boring to her having to work all the time)

SO, we're planning for a July/August move. It would be nice to get settled in before school starts. I'm so happy that we'll be closer to family and friends. I was truly excited about moving to Minnesota, but at the same time a little scared about how lonely it would be and how much we would miss everyone. I'm relieved and really looking forward to our move now!
